Let us pray, excellent king we want to bless your name for this wonderful opportunity given us this day. How wonderful it is to witness a day like this wherefore men across the global community celebrate the birth of the one given unto them for their own salvation. In this instance I will not be seen Jesus will be seen, I will not be heard Holy Spirit will be heard and at end only your name shall be glorified in Jesus name. Amen! I do not want to bore you with frivolous arguments on the biblical prove of confirmation onto whether Jesus Christ was actually born this day 25t of December or not. It shouldn’t matter to us because it is a mere academic exercise that holds no credit to our collect interest. What does matter to us is the name behind the celebration and which name is JESUS.  Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. And Joseph, her husband, being an upright man, and not desiring to make her a public example, had a mind to put her away privately Matt 1:18- 19 (BBE)
Christmas to so many people and persons of Christ means shearing of love through exchange of gift items, spiritual impartation, travels and etc. Incidentally many of us do not celebrate the name behind the celebration, the mystery surrounding HIS birth and the purpose. Bible account given explained that the mother of Jesus [Mary] was already found with a child of the Holy Spirit even before she was betrothed to Joseph who also was described as an upright man. When GOD wants to perform a task, HE leaves no doubt as to whom it is that performed such task. HE does not miss HIS lines, HE does not miss HIS Link and HE never misses HIS direction. At first HE saw the need to send an intercessor in Christ Jesus, second HE planned the source through which to deliver HIS package, thirdly HE sort the appropriate place, time and season to suit HIS intention. And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. Acts 4:12 (ASV). There would have been no better time to deliver the savior of the world if not in the time of Census and fine weather condition when the attention of the entire world would have been drawn to witness HIS arrival. HE also arranged the best security detail wherefore this all important VIP was delivered in a place where animals are kept which in itself was a decoy to confuse the enemies of the time. It took two extreme believers to usher the savior into this world, MARY never argued with the Angel Gabriel at the same time JOSEPH accepted Mary without grudges or bad filling once he got to know that GOD was involved. Whatsoever you desire to achieve, and who so ever you are, hoping to get to a level of appreciation must come with humility, commitment and trust first in yourself and unto GOD and unto fellow human beings in fellowship. Any nation who’s drivers pay less attention to little issues like humility impartation unto her people would have been brewing a generation of laying, lazy , irresponsible, dishonest and corrupt people. 24 And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God
Mark 10:24 (ASV). The spirit of celebration at Christmas does not include recklessness and uncompromising standards. Some Christians in the name of celebrating Christmas commit blunders through conducting themselves in manners not worthy of what they profess to be. It is not necessary that you finished that new project, that you did not give your staffs a bonus does not make you less human. Of what need is it that you sold your body, mortgage your conscience in other to make it to that choice resort just for the sake of holidaying. Spontaneous contents should not be given the opportunity to rob us of our hard earned Christ like qualities. 1 A good name is better than precious oil; and the day of death, than the day of one's birth. Eccl 7:1 (ASV). Whereas greater issues abounds, we should focus on the real things like our next appointment with HIM who called us to life, how to please HIM and how to fulfill our destiny purpose. 18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, And hast forgotten God that gave the birth.   Deut 32:18 (ASV). Our life is dependent upon HIS goodness through Jesus Christ; this is why every living must embrace HIM. It does not matter your race, your status, social class or personal distinction, HE is willing to come inside your hearth and do the needful, which is doing the work of reconciling you with HIS father, your father which is in heaven. It does not require any long protocol, it is just a personal decision wherefore you say: - Lord Jesus, I know you came to die for me. I know also that I am a sinner, who has sinned in many ways. I confess my sins unto you today as my lord and personal savor, come into my hearth and direct my part. In Jesus name Amen. Now that you have done this, do endeavor to identify with any bible believing CHURCH  NEXT TO YOU & then see GOD in every of your doings in 2016 and onwards.
