Let us pray. Our father in heaven, thank you for the opportunity of being alive to celebrate end of this year 2015. We are not living because of our righteous doings rather your grace of immeasurable love and mercy so much accounted for it. In this instance, I will not be heard but holy spirit will, I will not be seen but Jesus Christ will be seen and at end only your name shall be seen glorified thro’ Christ our lord we so pray-AMEM. The above topic was divinely handed down to me at about 0415hrs of 18th Dec.2015, one of the questions that kept revolving in my mind was LORD why this? .And in time the Holy Spirit gave me a led through HIS word. In just one month as always in same season in the time past, I have received several invitation of end of the year thanks giving and I began to ask these questions. Is end of the year thanks giving a mere religious activities or a sacred authorized offer from GOD HIMSELF? Amazingly bible provided me with an answer in these wonderful scriptures as conjoined: - Col 2:7, 4: 2, 1thess. 2:9 rooted and builded up in him, and established in your faith, even as ye were taught, abounding in thanksgiving, Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving; 9 For what thanksgiving can we render again unto God for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy for your sakes before our God. A thanks giving unto God begins with our faith in Christ, how faithful we are in service, how faithful we are in keeping to HIS commandment, how faithful we are in loving and careering for one another, how committed we are towards trusting HIM in and out of season. This is how thanks giving should start; it means therefore that a genuine Christian’s life is an everyday life of thanks giving unto GOD. You cannot receive from brother X and proceed to thank sister Z, So when we say end of the year thanksgiving celebration simply means that we did take stock of our entire life and life doings and confirmed that they are in tuned to his ways as required of us and generously proceeded to say a big thank you to HIM who gave us the opportunity in the first place to get to whatever level that it is we found ourselves with or without our bogus substances. The knowledge to take home herein is that thanks giving are in so many kinds and for so many reasons but unto one purpose, which purpose is to appreciate and acknowledge the deity of GOD as the most supreme.
Every nation chooses what to thank GOD for at the end of the day, but certainly must have so many reasons to give a resounding thank you to HIM. A thankful Christian is a wining Christian because the more you thank GOD the more HE blesses you. For us at Dayspring word on the wheels and our followers, we choose what we call RESTITUTIONAL thanksgiving that lids to restoration. Issues partnering to restitution to many people and Christians alike are treated with levity, we have no time to examine or review our lives, the way we go about in acquiring our choice possessions, whose toes did we step on, whose ox did we gore, who fills how about us and so on. All that so many of us do as Christians is THANK GOD for our now life, displaying and parading what we’ve got and by extension what we intend to get not minding what gate we passed through. Can you ever imagine what will be your reaction if someone or some people barged into your living room with some kind of gifts, thanking you for what you know nothing about? That’s what it is when sinners like Money looters, Armed Rubbers, fraudster, etc appears before the lord with their loots for the sake of thanking and appreciating HIM for what HE did not do and will never approve of it being done. Restitution is restoring to the original owner every acquisition that is acquired through unjustifiable means. It is a common saying within the Christendom that salvation is incomplete without restitution, in the words of Jesus Christ during HIS historic visit to Zacchaeous the tax collector did also confirm it in the book of Dr. Luke chpt.19:8-10
     8 But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, “Look, I’ll give half of my possessions to the poor, Lord! And if I have extorted anything from anyone, I’ll pay back four times as much!”  9 “Today salvation has come to this house,” Jesus told him, “because he too is a son of Abraham.  10 For the • Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost.” It is not just important but so critical that every child of GOD did partake in a given opportunity such as end of the year thanksgiving service to reposition themselves. Perhaps you may be among those set of people who ask whether it does matter how one may or may have acquired their riches, yes it does matter! Child of GOD lest we forget one of the temptations Satan pulled unto Christ Jesus during HIS wilderness experience in Mt.4:8-10. Year 2016 holds better things in stock for those who tied up most appropriately their year 2015. All the illegal Gates including every embarrassing proceeds thereof must need to be shot down for better take off in 2016 and now is the time. As a leader in whichever capacity, as a family head, cooperate, entrepreneur, political we need this retreat. You may not imagine how much you needed restoration until you face the reality in it, bible recorded that Zacchaeus was a rich man but he was never wealthy until he met with Jesus Christ, and experienced salvation and then became wealthy. You need to do the same through this window that is now available before you.     8 But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, “Look, I’ll give half of my possessions to the poor, Lord! Then see and watch Jesus Christ our lord and Savior say to you: - 9 “Today salvation has come to this house,” because you too are a son of Abraham in this coming year 2016.  10 For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost.”  The steps to take are explicitly clear. Abide therein but unto those who do not have the chance with their church or are not church oriented, this is what you have to do even now to enjoy a good stay with full assurance of blessing in 2016:- If you Prayerfully conducted a thorough round about search in and around your mind and discover that true and true that there are within you monies, houses, Automobiles, and other properties you acquired through illegal means and you cannot locate the rightful owners of same for restoration.
